
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the implementation of a scheme to enhance tourism and investment in Madhya Pradesh during the 39th annual conference of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). He highlighted Ujjain's Vedic clock as a unique global example of time determination and positioned Bhopal as a flourishing tourism hub. Yadav emphasized the state's focus on exploring tourism potential and praised the country's progress in various sectors, including tourism. He also commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting India's role by traveling by train from Poland to Ukraine. The conference witnessed the release of the IATO manual and the screening of a film on IATO. M L Rajdan of Rajdan Holidays was posthumously honored with the Hall of Fame Award, received by his daughter-in-law, Anita Rajdan. Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO of Indian Hotel Company Limited, was also recognized with the Hall of Fame award. Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, expressed optimism that the IATO Madhya Pradesh Convention will set a new standard for future conventions and encouraged delegates to explore the state's historical treasures, culture, and natural beauty. He urged them to promote Madhya Pradesh as a top tourist destination for both local and international travelers. A cultural presentation titled "Enchanting Madhya Pradesh: The heartland of India" was organized by the Madhya Pradesh Government's Culture Department, directed by Maitreyi Pahar.The performance featured a 40-minute dance presentation by 53 artists that highlighted the state's rich history and scenic beauty. Kailash Sisodia and his group from Dhar enticed the audience of national tour operators with a traditional Bhagoria dance from the Bhil tribe.
